Ashland is playing on the blanket. These toys were some of his sister’s first toys. Immi had a fancy playmat with toy attachments but she never really liked it much (and it was difficult to wash!) so Ashland gets only a regular blanket for playmat.
If a toy is within his reach, he’ll grab it and swing it about.
I had decided before Ashland was born that I wanted to give Ashland and Immi undivided attention individually everyday, even just for few minutes. This is easy enough to accomplish with Immi, but a bit of challenge with Ashland because Immi always wants to join! …at least Ashland doesn’t know what he is missing:D

Ashland is lucky because not only does he have a super sweet mom, but he also has this little miniature mom-like creature who likes to talk to him and play with him too.
I’m worried that one of these days she’ll try to feed him stuff he shouldn’t have. I hope that they’ll play together with ponies and helicopters (…or whatever!) and keep each other company soon!
