This morning I woke up to a peculiar feeling. My feet were hanging off the edge of the bed and something was biting on my toes. I rolled to one side and opened one squinty-eye…there was an Ashland grabbing onto my right foot and munching on my toes! Of course this is a daring and ballsy maneuver to try because my socks generally are considered hazardous waste and/or biohazard zones. But Ashland is a fearless liger and toe muncher!
Ashland got real food (if you call rice cereal a real food…) today for the very first time! He likes it. But I gave it to him the first round when he was hungry and he got mad every time I took the spoon out of his mouth. This is the second round, after I fill him up 80% capacity with formula — it worked much better.
His clothes got soaked (not to mention the bib!) so he is getting fresh outfit. He looks stuffed (food coma!), no?
Starting Ashland early on chocolate!
Seriously, it’s a teething (chocolate part is rubbery and sterilizable) toy Obaachan brought for him from Japan:) I got it out for Ashland because he really likes to chew on my finger and it actually hurts after a while. Luckily, he seems to enjoy chewing on the chocolate just as much.
