Ashland took his first three steps this morning! He was standing at the edge of the entertainment center shelf and he wanted to go over to the gate, so he stepped off took three steps and then power crawled the rest of the way. Won’t be long now until he will be walking and running!
This morning I woke up to a growling little liger standing at the edge of his crib. I walked over give him good morning kisses. After I gave him three kisses on his head Ashland looked up at me and said -
“DA-DA!”
It is his second word ever! His first was “MA-MA” of course, because he loves his Mama so much. It was the perfect start to my day and Ashland is always such a happy little guy to be around.
Today Ashland laughed for the very first time! First I made him smile by smiling really big @ him (he does this frequently & is really responsive to his surroundings + the mood of the people around him). Then he let out a clearly audible chuckle.
Today the Ashland shed his umbilical cord, because he did not need it anymore. He is going through all of the developmental phases much faster then his sister-ninjette Immi 2.0 which is exactly what you would expect of a supreme baby ninja Dragon-Lord cupcake and nipple devourer. Now the nano-dragon is on the loose with no thether to the hatchling world.
Ash shed his first tears ever today, he was very upset that food did not magically appear and feed itself to him. Hard lesson to learn in life:
“Boobs cannot teleport from nether-regions into baby dragon beaks!”
So sad but somehow the nano-ninja dinosaur dragon presses onward with the quest for real ultimate power through the dark boob-less-ness!!!
